Nursery Teaching Assistant

GSL are looking to a ppoint a caring and enthusiatic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful early years setting at one of our Primary Schools. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children;s development in a warm and welcoming environment. Beginning in September 2025, or earlier if you are available!

Duties include:

Plan and deliver creative, engaging and well structured lessons and sessions in an early years setting.

Create a safe and stimulating, inclusive learning environment where children feel secure, and valued.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and other support staff, to enhace pupil learning and wellbeing.

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including getting involved in extra-curricular activities, school events and staff training.

Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:

Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or be working towards one)

Have experience working in an Early Years setting

Be patient, kind and committed to supporting young childrens development

Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively

Demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility and genuine enthusiasm for early years learning.
