Pertemps Education are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established SEMH Secondary School in West Drayton to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Nurture Teacher for a September start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher who is passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning by creating a nurturing, structured and supportive classroom environment where they can thrive both academically and emotionally.

The Role
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to secondary-aged students with SEMH needs.
Foster positive relationships that promote confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing.
Create a calm, nurturing classroom environment that supports students' individual needs.
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the wider pastoral team.
Implement behaviour strategies and personalised learning approaches to maximise student engagement and progress.
Monitor student progress and contribute to individual support plans.The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching students with SEMH needs, either within a specialist setting or alternative provision.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Patient, resilient and passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people.
