My client, an international FMCG Group is seeking to hire an Order to Cash (OTC) Lead. This role will oversee the end-to-end OTC operations across a complex, multi-entity international environment.
You will be accountable for the performance of our outsourced OTC operations, ensuring service delivery consistently meets expectations across KPIs, efficiency, accuracy, reconciliations, and compliance. The OTC Global Process Owner will report directly into this role, and together you will drive operational excellence, process optimisation, and alignment with wider business goals.
A key priority will be building a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging automation and technology to simplify workflows, eliminate manual activity, and deliver a best-in-class OTC function.
You will work closely with country and regional CFOs, Group Finance, and external partners to ensure seamless operations, timely execution across regions, and compliance with global standards. You will also play a central role in implementing best practices, driving global process standardisation, and embedding strong risk and stakeholder management.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Lead all OTC operational activities, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant delivery across multiple geographies.
- Take full accountability for outsourced OTC service provider performance.
- Define and deliver a global OTC strategy, working with the Global Process Owner to drive harmonisation and standardisation.
- Oversee accurate cost reporting with the Contracts Manager and present results to GBS leadership.
- Build strong partnerships with CFOs, Group Finance, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with global policies, local regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reporting accuracy.
- Stay current with IFRS/GAAP, finance regulations, and emerging industry trends.
- Collaborate across functions including Finance, Treasury, Legal, IT, and GPO to strengthen close processes and data integration.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and SLAs, ensuring service quality and proactive issue resolution.
- Manage external relationships with auditors, regulators, and tax authorities, in partnership with Statutory Accounting & Audit.
- Champion best practices, global consistency, and knowledge sharing across the OTC function.
Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
- 7+ years’ progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a global leadership role.
- 5+ years’ experience managing outsourced accounting operations.
- Proven leadership in OTC transformation, process improvement, and change management.
- Broad expertise across the full OTC lifecycle (month-end close, tax, treasury, commercial finance, group reporting).
- Strong knowledge of compliance, regulations, and reporting requirements across multiple countries.
- Experience managing senior-level stakeholder relationships in a complex finance environment.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to work effectively across all levels.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with proven ability to drive operational excellence.
- Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, and PowerBI, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.
- A continuous learning mindset, staying current with global finance regulations, best practices, and technologies.
