Overview

I am currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to work with my client in Ipswich, Suffolk.

This is an initial 6-month contract focused on the proactive completion of reviews and assessments across the Directorate, supporting service delivery and helping to reduce waiting lists.

Main Duties

Providing safe and timely delivery of frontline Occupational Therapy services within the Directorate
Supporting triage processes and reducing duplication between health and social care services to help reduce OT waiting lists
Supporting external care providers to ensure safe and appropriate moving and handling practices
Completing reviews of care packages to ensure best value for Adult Social Care services and effective use of available equipment
Reviewing double-handed care packages
Reviewing waking night care provision
Reviewing packages of careThe contract is 37 hours per week. £35.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years postgraduate experience
Car driver
HCPC registered
Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies.
Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)What's on offer
