Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for its client’s Adults with Disabilities team located in Haringey.

Job Purpose:

To support adults with disabilities in achieving greater independence and informed choice within their communities, through strengths-based assessment and tailored interventions.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Undertake holistic assessments from a strengths-based perspective to maximise independence


• Provide effective advice and guidance following assessments


• Recommend and arrange provision of the most appropriate equipment and adaptations


• Complete carer’s assessments and reviews in line with statutory and operational standards


• Promote functional independence through tailored interventions


• Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to deliver person-centred care

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy


• HCPC registration


• Experience working with adults with disabilities in a community or social care setting


• Strong understanding of equipment provision, housing adaptations, and carer support


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• Commitment to strengths-based practice and promoting independence
