Ocean Export Coordinator

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ocean Export Coordinator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a collaborative and supportive environment, where you'll play a key role in managing international ocean freight operations from start to finish.

• Coordinate and manage ocean export shipments from booking through to final delivery.
• Prepare and process all necessary export documentation.
• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and overseas agents.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and internal company policies.
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues or delays in transit, working closely with carriers and customers.
• Maintain accurate records within the transport management system (TMS).
• Provide quotations and assist the sales team with rate requests and service options.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in ocean export operations or international logistics.
• Strong understanding of export documentation and shipping procedures.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office.
