Ocean Export Freight Forwarder

Our client is a leading specialist freight forwarder that are looking to recruit an Ocean Export Freight Forwarder to join their forwarding team, based in Eastleigh. If you have a passion for shipping & building a career, then this could be the role for you.

The Role:
As an Export Sea Freight Forwarder you will be part of the freight forwarding team, responsible for managing shipments from start to finish including:

• Receive and process shipment bookings
• LCL, FCL, RoRo & Out of Gauge,
• Arrange collections with UK haulier
• Book shipments with carriers & lines, negotiating rates and ensuring a healthy margin.
• Ensure the goods are Customs cleared
• Handling & processing shipping documentation
• Invoice the job and closing the file
• Above provide an exception level of customer service

Salary & Benefits:

For these positions, our client is looking to pay between £30-34K for the right person. 25 days holiday + BH, hybrid working & company pension.
