Ocean Import Customer Services

Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Ocean Import/Customer Services individual to join our friendly and proactive Client in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Permanent, Full-time position

Permanent role available as this company as they continue to expand with long term contracts being won.

Purpose of your role will be to fully support customers and handle all aspects of the shipments by ensuring high standards and great communication is given at all times.

Your responsibilities include:

• Proactively communicate with clients to ensure transparency
• Liaising with overseas partners to arrange shipments and collection of goods
• Monitor shipments throughout their journey
• Arranging customs clearance and delivery of shipment upon arrival
• Invoicing clients
• Processing purchase invoices
• Issuing quotations to clients in a prompt and competitive manner
• Any other day to day import operations
• Liaising with sales teams to help with business development

You will need:

• Confident and outgoing individual.
• Good Freight Forwarding knowledge & experience
• Previous experience with Customs Entries and Brokerage
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to keep up to date with changes to customs & compliance regulations.
• Be able to organise and multi-task.
• Ideally experienced in using Multifreight/Multished
• Good time management skills.
• Driver with own transport is desirable.
• UK resident and the right to work in the UK.
