Job Description - Office Administrator

Right Now Group are working with a specialist events and entertainment global freight forwarder based at Heathrow Airport who are looking to expand their Carnet Team with a Carnet Administrator who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the issuing, processing, and tracking of ATA Carnets, which are international customs documents used for the temporary importation of goods.

Responsibilities of a Carnet Administrator:

  • Accurately complete carnet applications including logging, returning, tracking claims and posting carnets to clients.
  • Guide clients and colleagues on carnet regs and requirements.
  • Follow existing processes to maintain accurate records, keeping carnet logs up to date.
  • Print and build carnets.
  • Monitor the carnet inbox.
  • Liaise with the chambers, resolving any issues.
  • Answer office phones, handling carnet-related questions or transfer to internal teams.
  • Meet and greet clients, offering them hospitality and informing colleagues of their arrival.

Experience Required for Carnet Administrator:

  • Office administration experience (essential)
  • Experience using with MS Excel
  • Experience working with MS Outlook
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines.

Benefits for Carnet Administrator:

Shift: Monday - Friday (09:00 - 17:30)
Salary - £25,000 - £27,000
Location: London Heathrow Airport
Additional Benefits: Overtime, 25 Days Holiday + BH, Pension Scheme, Private Healthcare
