Job Description - Office Administrator

Job DescriptionWe are excited to announce that we have a superb opportunity to join Cumming Europe Ltd, as part of Cumming Group, in the role of Office Administrator in our London Office.We are seeking to recruit an Office Administrator to provide administrative support to the team in our office based close to London Bridge. We are seeking someone who has had previous experience in a similar role and is used to working for a large team and taking the initiative when required.A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages is important as you will be responsible for producing high quality documents for the team. This includes Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Training can be given on other packages as necessary.Expectation for this role is is fully office based - no hybrid working arrangements. The role of an Office Administrator includes the following responsibilities:Provide full administrative support to the team consisting of Building Surveyors, Cost Managers and Project Managers. This includes typing reports, formatting reports, formatting agendas, minutes, typing letters, rebranding documentation, producing photographic schedules, printing, scanning, filing and any other adhoc correspondence as required by the team.Combining the timely production of documents and using file transfer sites for distribution to clients.Responding to adhoc queries from the team for admin support which could include using bespoke software to do company searches (Equifax).Other general administrative tasks as required such as document control.Arranging travel and accommodation for members of the team when necessary.Binding documentation for contracts to be issued in hard copy and/or soft copy via electronic signature packages such as DocuSign.Assisting with company and team event organisation.Assisting the Office Manager and acting as a further resource to cover elements of H&S and other building facility related tasks/duties.Provide resource and act as overflow support to reception when needed and as requested.Whilst on reception you will be expected to answer incoming calls, take and pass on telephone messages, greet guests and arrange refreshments/lunches as necessary.Key Attributes:The ability to –Work effectively and efficiently.Adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.Actively seek out work.Put in extra effort when required.Persevere with tasks.Complete documentation to internal procedures.Work under pressure.Qualifications & Skills:Preferably 1-2 years previous experience within office administrator role, or similar.Previous experience within the surveying/property industry is desirable but not essential.Experienced and within intermediate level in the use of MS Office; specifically Word (circa 50wpm), Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Cumming Europe Ltd. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, colour, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.
