Office Manager Location: Glasgow & Edinburgh Salary: Up to £31,000 + performance bonus Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Reporting to: Managing Director
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and commercially minded Office Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management, customer experience and commercial performance of a busy professional workspace.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being at the heart of a site, building strong relationships, creating an engaging environment and identifying opportunities to improve both customer satisfaction and revenue.
As Office Manager, you will have responsibility for the overall performance and smooth running of the centre, working closely with senior management to deliver occupancy, revenue and customer engagement targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
Taking ownership of occupancy, revenue and commercial performance Managing enquiries, viewings and new customer opportunities Building strong relationships with existing customers to support retention and growth Identifying opportunities to increase revenue through additional services, workspace and events Organising and coordinating events and activities to encourage customer engagement Developing relationships with local businesses and external partners Overseeing the day-to-day operation and presentation of the centre Managing suppliers, contractors and facilities-related issues Responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly Maintaining high standards of health, safety, cleanliness and presentation Monitoring budgets, costs and key performance indicators Providing regular performance updates to senior management Identifying operational or commercial risks and taking appropriate action We are looking for someone who is:
Commercially aware and comfortable working towards targets Experienced in a customer-facing, hospitality, property, leisure, workspace or similar environment Confident communicating with customers, suppliers, partners and senior stakeholders Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities Proactive and comfortable working independently Solutions-focused with strong problem-solving skills Professional, personable and customer-focused Detail-oriented with high standards Energetic and confident in creating a welcoming and engaging environmentYou will be expected to travel between Edinburgh and Glasgow for this role, all transport to Edinburgh will be funded and hours differ when travelling through to Edinburgh.
