Office Manager – Construction Monday–Friday | 8:00am–5:30pm | Fully Site Based
An established and growing construction business is looking for an experienced Office Manager to join a busy project team on a high-profile construction project in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional, ambitious contractor delivering high-quality projects for established clients. The business has built a strong reputation for its attention to detail, quality of delivery and collaborative approach, with a growing portfolio of exciting projects across London. As Office Manager, you will play a key role in keeping the site office running efficiently, supporting the project and commercial teams and ensuring that the day-to-day administration of the project is organised and professional.
Responsibilities:
Managing the day-to-day running of the site office. Providing administrative support to the Project Manager, Site Manager and wider project team. Managing project documentation, filing and records. Assisting with the preparation and distribution of reports, meeting minutes and correspondence. Maintaining accurate databases, registers and project records. Coordinating meetings, appointments and site activities. Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence. Assisting with subcontractor and supplier administration. Supporting the onboarding and induction of site personnel. Maintaining staff attendance and site records. Assisting with timesheets, invoices, purchase orders and general project administration. Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders. Ensuring the site office operates efficiently and professionally.We're looking for an organised, proactive and confident Office Manager / Site Administrator who is comfortable working in a busy construction environment.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience in an office management or site administration role within construction. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines. Confident communication skills and a professional manner. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Previous experience using Procore would be highly advantageous. Experience working with construction documentation and project systems. The confidence to work independently while supporting a wider project team.You'll be joining a forward-thinking construction business with a strong pipeline of projects and a collaborative working environment.
