Job Description - Office Manager for BioMedical Company

Are you an organised, creative, and upbeat professional ready to shape the culture and environment of a rapidly growing BioMedical company? The company is an ethical, purpose-driven BioMedical company committed to improving human life and tackling some of the most pressing challenges in terminal illness. With a strong growth trajectory and a team deeply invested in their mission.

The Role
As the Office Manager, you’ll be the heart of the London HQ. From ensuring smooth daily operations to creating a homely, inspiring workplace, you’ll play a central role in the team’s success and well-being.

Hours: 09:00-18:00, 5 days in office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and administration

  • Manage supplies, facilities, room bookings, and maintenance

  • Organise and enhance the physical space — bring a creative eye to making multiple rooms welcoming and functional

  • Plan and coordinate team socials, events, and celebrations

  • Be the friendly, go-to person that keeps morale high and logistics seamless

  • Assist with compliance around hazardous waste (training available if needed)

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role

  • Warm, bubbly personality who thrives in a team-oriented environment

  • Creative flair for interior organisation and space use

  • Prior exposure to tech or start-up cultures highly desirable

  • Experience or knowledge of hazardous waste protocols a strong plus

  • A can-do, hands-on attitude — willing to grow with us and make a difference
