Ofsted Deputy Manager / Leading Children's Care Home

Daytime Healthcare are assisting a leading children's care home to find a Deputy Manager to join the team in a brand new one bed home in Ealing, London.

As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations. You are to lead, motivate and manage staff and home resources to ensure high standards of service are achieved within the home, exceeding regulatory standards. You will also be responsible for managing the budget and ensuring the business remains viable, and to meet and exceed the key performance indicators for people, quality, and performance.

Essential Criteria:

• Be suitable to work with children and young people - the role involves working with children and young people and that it involves safeguarding responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

Qualifications: A relevant Level 3 Diploma (e.g., Diploma in Residential Childcare) or equivalent qualification. (Desirable: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent).

Experience: At least two years supervisor experience within a children’s home with a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.

Full UK Driving License is strongly favourable.

Schedule: This role works on a variable shift pattern across the 7 days of the week. A fixed pattern is not available.

Pay: £18.62 per hour (40 hours) Sleep In’s paid at £70.50
