Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Scunthorpe (DN15)
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

We are recruiting a Registered Manager (or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to register) for a small, well-supported children’s residential home in Scunthorpe, supporting 2 children/young people with EBD / LD needs.

Tasks

• Overall management of the children’s home, ensuring full Ofsted compliance
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• Leadership, supervision, and development of staff
• Maintaining high standards of care, quality, and documentation
• Managing rotas, staffing, and daily operations
• Working closely with external professionals and stakeholders

Requirements

• Previous Registered Manager experience, or Deputy Manager experience with readiness to register with Ofsted
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children’s Residential Services (or working towards)
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspections, safeguarding, and Children’s Homes Regulations
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a care team
• Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people
