Registered Manager - Children’s Residential Home (EBD) - Handsworth

Location: Handsworth
Service: 4-Bed Residential Home (EBD)
Salary: £50,000 per annum + 10% Performance-Based Bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded provider who is seeking a Registered Manager for their 4-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) service based in Handsworth.

The Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will take full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring it provides a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children and young people. You will lead, motivate, and develop your team to deliver outstanding care and meet the highest regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the home
• Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and relevant legislation
• Lead, support and develop a high-performing staff team
• Create and maintain a positive, child-centred environment
• Effectively manage budgets, staffing, and care plans
• Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for young people

Requirements:

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Proven experience managing a children’s residential service
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and quality standards
• A child-focused approach with excellent leadership skills
• Full UK driving licence
