Huntswood is looking for experience Ombudsmans ideally with housing or insurance experience to join a new exciting project. If you have Ombudsman l experience and experience of dealing with housing or home insurance complaints, then we have a great role for you.

As an Ombudsman, you will be responsible for reviewing and making formal decisions on consumer complaints while ensuring the independence and effectiveness of the ombudsman process.

This dynamic role demands a positive, proactive, professional, and flexible individual who can manage a varied workload, make informed decisions on complaint progression, and apply the rules and the companies Code of Practice effectively.

Start Date: ASAP

Day Rate: £250 a day - Umbrella only recruitment - This is only available to individuals working via an Umbrella company, we can assist you with this

Location: Working from home

What Huntswood is looking for:

• Experience working for an Ombudsman, either energy, telecoms, housing or finance) at an adjudicator level as minimum, is essential
• Experience dealing with end-to-end complex complaints
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customer in writing and over the telephone
• Experience writing bespoke final response letters is essential
• Suitable work space at home with strong broadband connection
• Ability to work independently as well as being able to work as a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to navigate through a number of in-house databases
• Good MS Office skills, particularly MS Word
