On Site Sampler

Shift Pattern: 12 hour shift system basis, working a mix of days and nights.

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Sampler to join the team in Selby. This individual will be functionally responsible to the Supervisors for the day-to-day operation of carrying out on site sampling of Biomass, Ash and Oil.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Required Competencies

• Good timekeeping and time management skills. 


• Handles challenges in a mature manner. 


• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  


• Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.


• Full UK Driving License 
  

Responsibilities

• Sample Biomass from Rail and Road lorry deliveries


• Sample Ash and oil from pre determined locations


•  Collect samples for the onsite Drax chemistry lab
  

Required work experience

• Previous work experience as a Sampler or similar will be advantageous.
