Job Description - Ongoing AML Monitoring Analyst

About the job

Excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, growth-focused environment as an AML Analyst on a 24-month fixed term contract for a global law firm, based in Sheffield with flexible, hybrid working options.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct client due diligence (CDD) on new and existing clients from an AML and reputational risk perspective.
Carry out client and matter risk assessments, evaluating factors like jurisdiction and commercial activities.
Run company searches on all new client engagements determining if there are any PEPs, sanctions or negative media issues.
Manage the AML workflow, escalating issues as needed, and ensure accurate client data in internal systems.

Requirements:
Relevant experience in AML compliance is essential, while a legal firm background is desirable but not essential.
