Online QA Tester - German

You will work as part of a team under the supervision of the QA Coordinator; finding, reporting and working through errors in the assigned game; following test plans and completing assigned tasks on time. Execution of other duties under the leadership of the QA management.

Please note this role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Roles, Responsibilities and KPIs

• Game testing and proofreading
• Identifying and reporting linguistic errors and in-game defects
• Accuracy: Ensuring all translated content is correct and not misleading.
• Contextual Appropriateness: Verifying that the text is appropriate for the context in which it appears.
• Correct display: Confirming that the text is displayed correctly on screen
• General tasks in the area of quality assurance (QA)
• Checking anything linked to the game (e.g. website, companion app)
• Other general QA tasks

Qualification & Skills

Essential

• Excellent native German language skills and a good eye for detail
• Good communication skills in English
• Knowledge about role-playing games and console games
• Clear communication (spoken & written)
• Able to work methodically and logically
• Able to work under pressure and on time

Desirable

• Knowledge of MMORPGs (especially Final Fantasy XIV)
• Previous industry experience in QA testing
• A lively interest in computer games
