  • Ensure data quality, integrity and compliance with QA/QC standards and project specifications;
  • Monitor real-time system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain operational continuity;
  • Prepare projects for mobilisation, including system checks, configuration and readiness validation;
  • Act as the operational interface with Technical Authority – Survey and key project stakeholders;
  • Support tender reviews and provide operational input into project planning and delivery;
  • Maintain accurate operational reporting, logs and acquisition records;
  • Drive standardisation, procedural compliance and continuous improvement across operations.

Key interfaces:

  • Technical Authority – Survey (technical governance and escalation);
  • Project Management & Project Delivery;
  • Offshore Operations and Payload Leads;
  • Commercial & Business Development (bids and feasibility input);
  • HSEQ (compliance and operational assurance).

What good looks like (KPIs):

  • Consistent delivery of acquisition operations to plan, with minimal disruption;
  • High data quality with low rework and strong QA/QC performance;
  • High system uptime and operational readiness;
  • Strong procedural compliance and standardised delivery;
  • Effective issue identification, resolution and escalation;
  • Successful mobilisation and “right-first-time” project execution;
  • Clear team leadership, communication and performance across shifts;
  • Ongoing contribution to operational and workflow improvements.

Who you are:

  • Strong experience in survey acquisition across offshore and/or remote operations;
  • Proven leadership of online survey teams in a live operational environment;
  • Solid understanding of survey systems, sensors and acquisition workflows;
  • Strong focus on data quality, operational discipline and delivery standards;
  • Confident decision-maker, able to resolve issues in real time and under pressure;
  • Effective communicator who can bridge technical, operational and project teams.
