Senior Online Trading Executive
Leeds, Hybrid/ WFH
£35,000 + Package

My client is a market leading retail group with an increasing portfolio of over 100 stores, and a very ambitious growth strategy. They pride themselves on diversifying their product and service offering to stay ahead of the curve within their sector and they give the best product advice possible, adding value to the customer experience.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen in their expanding ecommerce team for an ambitious and experienced Online Trading person to join their team.

It will be your responsibility to maximise the commercial performance of the brands digital channels/ website by optimising product, pricing and promotions.

Key responsibilities include:
Support the Ecommerce Director in the planning of the overall trading strategy including the product and promotional strategy, which supports growth not competition across DTC websites
Working with the channel leads and Digital Marketing Analysts to analyse and optimise site promotions on site– making recommendations to drive performance
Manage the briefing process on offer details out to the wider business, including the end result to customers
Working with Digital and Paid channel leads to understand asset requirements for each offer and campaign
Working with the Digital Marketing team to understand and translate requirements into clear briefs for Creative teams and then support that production including setting up web banners
Continually seek to test and learn, working with channel teams to test different creative executions and approaches for campaigns to maximise performance

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
Minimum of 3 years experience within an Ecommerce environment
Experience working in a pricing or trading role
Highly numerate and proficient in excel and Google Analytics
Have a proven track record in driving pricing optimisation working closely with a senior management team
Good commercial awareness
