On-site IT Service Desk Technician

As our IT Department continues to grow, we are excited to be recruiting for afull time On-siteITServiceDeskTechnician in our Edinburghoffice on a permanent basis. This is an exciting new opportunity for apersonable and customer-focused Service Desk Technician to develop their technology skillset.
In this role you would be uniquely placed to provide on the ground support to our Edinburgh office, with a variety of cover needed like ensuring the smooth running of video conferencing and audio-visual equipment during meetings and events to ensure our people continue to deliver our leading client service, along with service desk incident resolution and escalation. We are looking for a keen problem-solver, who is eager to go the extra mile to find solutions; in return you will be joining a friendly and hardworking service desk team at a firm where developing our people is at the heart of our business.
As anOn-siteITServiceDeskTechnician you will have every opportunity to make an impact in a progressive team who arekey in ensuring the business is moving forward . Our IT Service Desk is the first point of contact for our users, whether they require support, guidance ordiagnosis of simple technical problems, as well as escalation.

About you
To be successful you will need to demonstrate the following:
Proven experienceof delivering Office Support in a similar role
Experience of delivering excellent customer service and enjoyment in communicating with people of all levels
The ability to remain calm under pressure whilst maintaining a good eye for detail and strong time management skills
Excellent communication skills
A degree of flexibility
A strong IT skillset
Ability to be able to work independently and as part of a team.
