Job Description - Onsite IT Support Engineer




WE’RE HIRING FOR AN ONSITE IT SUPPORT ENGINEER AT PADDINGTON, UNITED KINGDOM!

This is a fully site-based role supporting one of our valued clients, including VIP users, where professionalism, technical expertise, and excellent communication are key.

WHAT YOU'LL DO








  • Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.

  • Deliver high-quality customer service to all users, including VIPs, with confidence and professionalism.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows platforms.

  • Build and deploy PCs, patch network points, and resolve printer and connectivity issues.

  • Maintain and update site-specific documentation and knowledgebase articles.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal support teams and third-party vendors.

  • Manage incidents, IMACs (Install, Move, Add, Change), and project-related tasks.

  • Use remote support tools and ticketing systems to track and resolve issues.






Requirements



WHAT YOU NEED







  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (current and legacy).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, Intune, etc.).

  • Experience with Windows imaging techniques (network and local).

  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.

  • Skilled in desktop and printer configuration and troubleshooting.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
