Are you a commercially minded number-cruncher with a passion for driving efficiency and financial clarity? We're working with a leading logistics and freight forwarding business that's looking for an Operational Finance Analyst to join their growing team and make a real impact.

You'll work across departments, analysing performance vs. forecasts, supporting cost control, and helping streamline financial processes. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves digging into data, improving systems, and influencing business decisions from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Analysing actuals vs. budgeted figures at customer and trade level, working closely with procurement
• Reviewing variances, reserves, and cost trends, and providing actionable recommendations
• Enforcing internal processes and helping departments improve costing accuracy
• Collaborating with teams to enhance SOPs, support rollouts, and ensure data integrity
• Assisting with automated accounting processes to improve productivity
• Keeping rates and financial data current and accurate across internal systems

Requirements:

• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain finance (preferred)
• Strong Excel skills and confidence with financial data
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Proactive attitude and the ability to work across multiple departments
