Job Description - Operational Resilience (Corporate Functions)

Job DescriptionOperational Resilience Business Partner (Corporate Functions & HR) VPIntroduction:Are you driven by the challenge of ensuring operational resilience and regulatory compliance within the financial sector? We are seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Business Partner (Corporate Functions & HR) VP to join our team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting corporate functions such as finance, compliance, and HR, ensuring compliance with operational resilience regulations across the UK (FCA/PRA) and the EU, including the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).Responsibilities:Develop, embed, and manage the Operational Resilience framework, tools, and methodologies in line with regulatory requirements.Act as a single point of contact for corporate functions, supporting the identification of critical/important functions and mapping them within the Operational Resilience Framework.Coordinate with stakeholders across Corporate Functions and HR to ensure a cohesive approach to resilience management.Conduct business impact assessments and support the identification of Important Business Services (IBS) and Critical/Important Functions (CIFs) within Corporate Functions and HR.Manage the process to monitor resilience of Important Business Services (IBS) and Critical/Important Functions (CIFs), including vulnerability assessments and remedial actions.Coordinate testing activities and facilitate scenario testing workshops.Support the creation of the Regulatory Self-Assessment and ensure internal governance and approval.Support the design, planning, and implementation of the overall Operational Resilience framework across the organization.Requirements:Detailed knowledge of the Operational Resilience Policy Statements (March 2021) and EU Digital Operational Resilience Act requirements.Experience delivering regulatory change and transformation in the financial services sector.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to identify and resolve risks, develop solutions to complex problems, and drive effective and timely delivery of activities.Previous experience in Business Continuity Management is desirable.Additional Responsibilities:Contribute to the Operational Resilience Oversight Committee or Practitioners Forum.Ensure compliance with organizational governance policies and procedures.Analyze the risk and effectiveness of the region's Operational Resilience reporting arrangements and identify/escalate appropriate actions.Build relationships with key individuals within the First, Second, and Third Lines to proactively address Operational Resilience weaknesses and concerns.Develop and enhance staff training as required.Provide regular updates on progress under the Operational Resilience Governance framework and other key forums/committees.Join Us:Join our team and be at the forefront of operational resilience in the financial sector.
