Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the department business plan in collaboration with the Head of Compliance. Manage the risk review process, including quarterly reviews, risk committee meetings, and board report production. Maintain the Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) framework, ensuring compliance with legal and client requirements. Provide advice on operational risk events and compliance breaches, ensuring adherence to current regulations. Oversee vendor management processes and provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders. Conduct compliance monitoring reviews and internal audits, producing relevant management information for regulatory and board reporting. Maintain the ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System and other certification standards as required.
Ideal Candidate ProfileProven experience in risk management, including governance and controls. Relevant professional compliance qualification (desirable). Commercial awareness and experience with ISO9001 framework. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic approach to risk and regulatory interpretation. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise at all levels. Effective leadership and management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, taking personal responsibility for actions and decisions.
