As an Operational Support Specialist, you will join us on our journey and undertake a highly valuable role supporting our network of over 11,500 branches to operate safe, compliant and successful franchise businesses.
This is a field-based role, with branch visits making up a significant part of your working week. You will regularly travel to branches across South UK, providing operational support, conducting stock and cash verification activities, undertaking branch accounting reviews, and supporting cash management processes.
You will work closely with Postmasters and a range of stakeholders across the business, providing coaching, guidance and practical support to help improve operational performance and ensure branches are equipped to deliver excellent service to customers.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference to our Postmaster community. Whether supporting branches through operational challenges, conducting risk-based stock checks, or helping colleagues following significant events such as robberies, burglaries or branch closures, you will play an important role in helping our network thrive.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of branch operations, cash and stock management processes and be confident building relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will combine operational expertise with a coaching and support-focused approach, ensuring Postmasters receive clear guidance and practical solutions.
In addition to this, the ideal candidate will:
You must be flexible and willing to travel nationally including overnight stays where required. All business travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with company policy.
