This forward-thinking company specialise in the development, construction and management of grid scale battery energy storage projects nationwide. They have thrived in recent years as the BESS market grows significantly, and as a result they are now looking to expand their passionate team of industry experts to continue on their upward trajectory.

In this role you will be responsible for leading operations and maintenance activities on battery energy storage sites across the country. Responsibilities include managing O&M on site, mentoring engineers, organising schedules and call-out rotas, monitor site performance metrics, and ensuring H&S is adhered to. This is also a hands-on role where you will be required to carry out some planned and reactive maintenance activities. Sites are located across England so nationwide travel and stay aways will be required.

The ideal candidate will be an O&M professional with strong knowledge and experience working on utility-scale renewable projects. You will have experience leading and managing teams, and will hold a relevant qualification in an electrical / electro-mechanical discipline. A full driving license is also required.

The Role:
*Lead and oversee O&M activities for utility-scale BESS projects

*Organise engineering schedule and on-call rota
*Monitor and analyse site performance metrics
*Manage client / stakeholder relationships, acting as technical liaison
*Nationwide travel, on-call work and stayaways

The Person:
*Experienced O&M Engineer / Manager
*A background working on utility-scale BESS or Solar PV systems
*Qualified in electrical / electro-mechanical discipline
*Full UK driving license
