Job Description - Operations Assistant

Operations Assistant
£24,000 per annum
Rochester, Kent

Here at Kamro we have partnered up with an established and innovative company, who are seeking an Operations Assistant to join their team. This role will offer you the chance to develop your skills, collaborate with a driven team, and contribute to the smooth running of daily operations in an exciting and dynamic company.

About the Role

As an Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day operations. You'll be supporting various departments, managing key administrative tasks, and ensuring that all processes run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to solving problems. If you're someone who loves variety, enjoys taking ownership of tasks, and is looking to make an immediate impact, this role could be the perfect fit.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Duties

  • Update production planners to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling.

  • Ensure all sales orders are completed and accurate.

  • Maintain and monitor delivery schedules, coordinating with suppliers to avoid delays.

  • Assist in tracking inventory and resolving any delivery discrepancies.

  • Support internal and external teams to guarantee material availability when needed.

  • Verify order accuracy and play an active role in improving operational processes.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or operations assistant within the Outdoor living or Construction industry

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy

  • IT Proficient and CRM Housekeeping experience
