Our client, a leading organisation in its sector, is seeking an organised, proactive, and adaptable *** Operations Assistant *** to support the smooth functioning of its operational and administrative processes. This is a critical role that works across departments, directly supporting senior operational leadership and contributing to continuous improvement and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive administrative support to senior operations staff, including the Chief Operating Officer, Head of Procurement, and Warehouse Manager.
Coordinate and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist the technical team with the organisation of training and preparation of technical documentation.
Support operational projects across the business, ensuring alignment with timelines and standards.
Maintain and manage PPM scheduling via Trello, ensuring all information is kept current for compliance and certification purposes.
Act as a point of contact for operational and facilities-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Support compliance documentation management for Health & Safety within the warehouse.
Oversee the provision and allocation of staff uniforms to ensure adherence to standards.
Assist in the management of facilities and sundry items for the Brackley site.
Provide administrative support to the purchasing team, including the management of product codes and familiarity with the internal processes - once trained.
Candidate Profile:
A minimum NVQ Level 3, A Level or equivalent education.
Demonstrated experience in a comprehensive administrative role within an operational environment.
Strong planning, organisation, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Confident communicator with effective written and verbal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently when needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
Customer-focused, team-oriented, and flexible with a proactive approach.
Package Include:
Salary circa £35,000 depending on experience
23 days annual leave plus bank holidays and an additional birthday leave day
