We are currently recruiting for an Operations Assistant - Non-Proportional & Lloyd’s on behalf of our client, a very well-established and highly regarded London Market Insurer.

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to the Operations team, as well as support aspects of the Underwriting / Reinsurance process.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing and adjusting premiums, commissions and claim payments in the accounting systems based on portfolio, Cash Management, Submission, Exports and Underwriting Support.
• Assisting with development and oversight of metrics and KPIs.
• Supporting Claims, Reserving, Underwriting and Finance departments.
• Providing support to the broader Operations team to help to ensure smooth and efficient monthly and quarterly closes.
• Assisting with requests from both Internal and External Auditors.
• Ensuring SOX compliance for Operations processes.
• Supporting the Collateral process for both Assumed and Ceded business, reporting analysis to Head of Operations.
• Analysing expected vs actual results including preparation of the quarterly Proportional accruals.
• Processing of transactions including moderate to more complex accounts.
• Supporting communication with Brokers, Underwriters, and Analysts, to ensure that technical accounts information is current, accurate and complete.

Key Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role in Insurance - Ideally working with cash and credit control or working with premiums
