We're looking for a proactive and organised individual to join a friendly, well-established business in High Wycombe. This is a varied role where you'll support the purchasing and supply chain team, working closely with suppliers and internal departments to help keep everything running smoothly. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships and being involved in the day-to-day operations of a busy business.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Assistant:

* Raising and processing purchase orders

* Sourcing materials and liaising with suppliers

* Monitoring stock levels and supplier deliveries

* Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams

* Supporting procurement activities and resolving supplier queries

* Producing reports and analysing purchasing data

* Identifying opportunities to improve processes

* Supporting the wider Supply Chain team with day-to-day administration

Requirements of the Operations Assistant:

* Previous experience within purchasing, procurement, supply chain or operations

* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

* Confident communicator with good relationship-building skills

* Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills

* Comfortable working with business systems (SAGE experience beneficial)

* Able to prioritise a varied workload

* Positive, proactive approach
