Job Description - Operations Coordinator

The role? 

A new permanent role has arisen in our centralised equipment group for an Operations Coordinator to join the team. The role will be to provide support and direction to the Equipment Mob/Demob Team Lead and team and to manage the equipment and asset allocation for the business units. Other main duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Provide direction and support for the Mob/Demob Teams to ensure that any issues or concerns with delivery are addressed and all deadlines are met for Equipment requirements for projects
  • Produce and maintain Navision Job Commencement Advices in consultation with Business Delivery Coordinators 
  • Review Job Commencement Advice notes and allocate job and include Certification and Mob-DeMob team in communications
  • Liaise with Workshop and Mob-Demob teams at all times to attain list of shortages for all jobs as assigned
  • Contact internal departments and external suppliers to receive quotes for purchases and hires if required and not supplied from Business units
  • Create PO’s and issue to suppliers on receipt of quote, then organize timely deliveries or collections
  • Assist in planning where possible in maximising company owned assets utilisation and reducing 3rd party hire costs
  • Liaise with Workshop Team Leads and Certification teams through all stages of job to ensure all equipment is ready and certified for dispatch
  • Liaise with EnerMech transport and external customer contacts to ensure all local and international load outs go with all required paperwork

You are? 

To be successful for this position you will have good workable knowledge of Microsoft Office and hold excellent organisational skills. You will have experience working under pressure and to strict deadlines. It is preferred you have had experience with ERP systems and dangerous good training but not essential. Previous experience in a similar role within the offshore equipment coordination side of things would be an advantage.
