Operations Coorrdinator

I’m currently working with a well-established and growing organisation based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, who are looking to expand their Head Office team with the addition of an Operations Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of a busy operations team.

In this role, you'll be supporting a nationwide field-based team, managing schedules, coordinating large projects, and acting as a key point of contact between engineers, suppliers, and internal departments. It’s a varied and rewarding position, ideal for someone highly organised with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scheduling work for engineers using a leading CRM system
• Planning and coordinating large-scale projects
• Processing field reports and creating parts lists
• Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes, order parts, and manage deliveries
• Updating and maintaining the customer database
• Delivering excellent customer service across all touchpoints

Who We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a busy, fast-moving administrative or operational role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly organised with great attention to detail
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Experience with scheduling, project coordination, or CRM systems is a bonus
• Any technical or industry-related knowledge is a plus, but not essential
