Operations Director - Engineering / Property Maintenance / Construction / Up to £100k

We are excited to be partnering with a dynamic SME based in High Wycombe in the search for an experienced Operations Director.

This is a pivotal leadership role for a seasoned professional from the Engineering, Property Maintenance or Construction sectors.

With a strong market reputation and ambitious growth plans, this is an exciting opportunity to join the senior leadership team and work closely with the Managing Director to enhance operational performance, drive efficiency and support the company’s continued expansion!

Duties Will Include

• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's vision and growth objectives
• Identify and drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives across the business
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
• Oversee quality assurance functions to maintain high product and service standards
• Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and business goals
• Collaborate with finance, sales, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
• Provide regular performance and operational updates to the Managing Director and contribute to strategic planning initiatives

Suitable Candidates Will Have / Be

• Proven leadership experience within engineering, property maintenance or construction industries
• A hands-on, proactive approach with a strong understanding of operational best practices
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Commercially aware with a strategic mindset and the ability to deliver tangible business improvements
