Operations Director

Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a highly successful, market-leading manufacturing business in Mansfield to recruit an experienced and forward-thinking Operations Director.

You will take full operational leadership of the company’s manufacturing activities, driving excellence, lead and empower high performing teams. This is a critical strategic role focused on supporting future growth while maintaining outstanding operational performance.

• Lead all operational areas
• Managing growth across international operations
• Ensure delivery of quality products on time and to budget, while continuously improving efficiency
• Manage a range of manufacturing processes, including complex assembly and multi-stage production
• Implementing effective production workflows to boost productivity and minimise waste
• Build and lead high-performing teams, instilling a culture of accountability, safety, zero-defect mindset and continuous improvement

• Must have experience in leading operations within a successful manufacturing business
• Experience of leading manufacturing with 100+ FTEs and T/O over £10m
• Experience of a range of production processes including complex assembly
• Demonstrable experience of implementing Lean/CI methodologies
• Commercially astute with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Strategic thinker with strong leadership, people management
• Comfortable in a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
