Reed Scientific is working on behalf of a client in the biotechnology sector that is seeking an Operations Director to lead and scale their operations. This role is ideal for someone with significant experience in operations management within the biotech or life sciences industries.

As the Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational strategy and ensuring excellence across various functions such as lab operations, facilities, compliance, IT, and supplier management. This position involves managing a team, overseeing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance in a dynamic environment.

• Develop and implement operational strategies to support scalable growth.
• Enhance processes across multiple departments including HR, legal, IT, and lab operations.
• Manage lab and facilities operations with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Lead the operations team and act as the senior point of contact for external partners.
• Negotiate and manage contracts and lead risk management efforts.

• Over 5 years of experience in operations leadership, preferably in the biotech or life sciences sector.
• Proven track record of developing and scaling operational processes.
• Strong experience in compliance, risk management, and managing supplier relationships.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Strategic thinking capabilities with a hands-on approach to management.
