The Opportunity

A leading player in the energy and infrastructure sector is seeking a strategic and hands-on Operations Director to oversee end-to-end operations—from manufacturing and project delivery to commissioning, retrofit, and customer services. This is a high-impact leadership role with the scope to drive transformation, efficiency, and excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business growth
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and eliminate silos
• Champion continuous improvement and a zero-incident HSE culture

Project Delivery & Commissioning

• Ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of new build and retrofit projects
• Oversee risk management, commissioning standards, and issue resolution

Retrofit & Technical Services

• Lead retrofit programmes with a focus on stakeholder engagement and compliance
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and customer satisfaction

Metering, Billing & Customer Service

• Ensure seamless setup of metering and billing at project handover
• Drive service efficiency and elevate customer support standards

People & Performance

• Build and lead a high-performing operations team
• Set clear objectives, conduct appraisals, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration
