Summary:

My client are a fast-growing eCommerce fulfilment company providing logistics solutions for online retailers. From warehousing and inventory management to order processing and shipping, they enable eCommerce brands scale efficiently and deliver an exceptional customer experience. They are seeking a strategic, results-driven Operations Director to lead and optimise the fulfilment operations across multiple sites.

• Develop and execute operational strategies that align with business growth and client SLAs.

• Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across fulfilment centres, logistics, and operations support.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse layout, process automation, and order accuracy.

• Monitor and optimise KPIs such as order turnaround time, inventory accuracy, shipping costs, and customer satisfaction.

• Ensure health & safety, compliance, and quality standards are met or exceeded.

• Forecast operational capacity and lead expansion projects as needed (new sites, automation, software upgrades).

• Collaborate with IT and product teams to optimise WMS and integrate with client platforms.

• Create and manage annual operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency across the supply chain.

• Act as a key voice in the leadership team, contributing to overall strategy, growth planning, and innovation.

• Proven experience (7+ years) in senior operations leadership within eCommerce, fulfilment, 3PL, or supply chain environments.

• Strong understanding of warehousing, WMS systems, and eCommerce logistics.

• Demonstrated ability to scale operations in high-growth businesses or start-up/scale-up environments.

• Analytical mindset with experience in performance metrics, data-driven decision making, and cost optimisation.

• Inspirational leader with excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
