Operations Director (Surveying)

Here at Every Step Recruitment, Office Support, we are supporting a fast-growing surveying Company with their requirement for an Operations Director. As they scale, they’re looking for a hands-on, strategic Operations Director to help them grow efficiently while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Your Role:

As Operations Director, you’ll lead the Company’s end-to-end operations—from customer journey fulfillment and surveyor coordination to process optimisation and team management. You’ll build a high-performing ops function, ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and top-tier service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable operational processes to support rapid growth
• Lead and manage the surveyor network, ensuring availability and performance
• Drive customer experience improvements, ensuring seamless post-sale operations
• Collaborate with Tech & Product teams to automate and optimise workflows
• Build and lead a high-performing ops team, setting clear goals and fostering a strong culture
• Oversee compliance with RICS regulations and ensure quality assurance

What we're looking for:

• 5-10+ years’ experience in operational leadership—ideally in residential surveying
• Preferably RICS qualified (AssocRICS, MRICS, FRICS)
• Proven track record in scaling operations within a fast-growth environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Tech-savvy, with experience implementing digital solutions
