Operations Director ?

• Hybrid with offices in Trowbridge, travel locally and nationally
• £48,000 - £51,000 (plus pension contribution) ?per annum
• Hours: 37 hours per week, Full-time?

?Our client, Wiltshire and Swindon Sport CIC (WASP), the Active Partnership for Wiltshire and Swindon, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Director to join the team. ? This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving the successful implementation of their strategy and operations, while building strong relationships with strategic partners to achieve shared outcomes. ? Key Responsibilities: ?

• Contribute to strategic planning and development as part of the executive team. ?
• Lead the implementation of key strategic plans and new projects aligned with WASP’s strategic outcomes. ?
• Manage resources, budgets, and staff effectively to ensure operational success. ?
• Secure external funding and build collaborative relationships with external organisations. ?
• Monitor and report on operational performance, providing meaningful insights and evidence. ?
• Ensure compliance with quality management, safeguarding, and health & safety standards. ?

Person Specification: ?

• Demonstrable experience in business development, bid writing, and project management. ?
• Proven track record in performance management, team motivation, and development. ?
• Strong IT skills, including databases, spreadsheets, and websites. ?
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. ?
• Ability to travel independently and work evenings/weekends when necessary. ?
• Experience of working with a Management Board. ?
• Strategic communication planning, including social media. ?
