Description

As the Operations Manager, you will,

• Oversee and manage daily logistics operations within the business
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards across all processes
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise operational efficiency
• Lead, coach, and support the logistics team to achieve departmental goals
• Implement and analyse key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
• As part of the wider supply chain, manage the Customer Service team, ensuring robust processes are in place, and systems are removing non-value activity
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Profile

A successful Operations Manager should have:

• Previous experience in logistics management ideally within the healthcare sector, supporting a face paced, same day delivery operation
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively, improving performance and skill sets
• Excellent understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Competency in utilising data to assess and improve operational performance, this will include strong Excel skills (pivot tables / Macros etc)
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across departments.
• In addition, it would be an advantage to have implemented business systems (WMS)
