Job Role Responsibilities:

My client is recruiting for a driven Operations Manager to join the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic operations leader to take ownership of a critical site, managing cross-functional teams and playing a central role in driving performance, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the board.

As Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end operations of the s facility. Reporting directly to senior leadership and collaborating with functional directors at group level, you'll ensure site objectives are met efficiently and in line with the highest standards of food safety and operational excellence.

• Oversee all aspects of day-to-day site operations including production, engineering, technical compliance, HR, and health & safety.
• Work with senior leadership to deliver site targets and contribute to broader group objectives.
• Develop and implement systems and processes that improve operational efficiency and output.
• Lead, support, and develop multi-disciplinary teams to achieve peak performance.
• Maintain compliance with all health & safety and food safety regulations.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the site.
• Monitor site performance and report regularly against KPIs and budget expectations.

The Candidate:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior operational leadership role, within red meat processing or FMCG manufacturing.
• Proven track record in managing and motivating large operational teams.
• Strong understanding of production, compliance, and health & safety regulations.
• A confident, adaptable leader with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant industry qualification or degree-level education.
• Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
