What You'll Do:

As our Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the seamless flow of our Wellesbourne operations, with a strong focus on people, processes, and performance. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading Warehouse Operations: Spearhead the day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring smooth inbound, inventory, picking, packing, and outbound processes.
• Driving Performance & KPIs: Continually improve operational efficiency, setting clear internal KPIs and rigorously monitoring performance across all areas.
• Talent Management & Growth: Oversee the recruitment of our temporary staff through our in-house agency, and actively engage in succession planning to foster personnel and team growth.
• Transport & Logistics Optimisation: Perform detailed route-planning for our transport operations, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries.
• Driver Management: Directly manage our team of drivers, focusing on their performance and development.
• Championing Health & Safety: Be a proactive advocate for Health & Safety, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and housekeeping throughout the operation.
• Strategic Improvement: Identify and implement effective methods and strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall profitability.

What We're Looking For:

We need a proven leader who can hit the ground running and inspire their team.

• Experienced Operations Professional: Demonstrated work experience as an Operations Manager, ideally within a logistics or warehousing environment.
• Operational Excellence: Adequate knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management principles, with a track record of driving improvements.
• Financial Acumen: Familiarity with business and financial principles, including budget development, oversight experience, forecasting, and key metrics.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient with basic IT skills, including databases and MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional Communicator: Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence at all levels of the organisation, from warehouse floor to senior management.
• Inspirational Leader: Strong leadership and organisational skills, with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams to achieve targets.
