Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

We are searching for a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our logistics operations in Nailsea. What You'll Do:
As an Operations Manager, your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering a culture of high morale and collaboration within your team. Here's a glimpse of your main responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:
- Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations covering inbound logistics, order fulfilment, and despatch.
- Develop and execute strategic plans that align with business growth and customer expectations.

Team & Resource Management:
- Manage a fantastic team of 30-40 Supervisors and operational staff, focusing on performance management and development.
- Promote engagement and learning through coaching and training initiatives.

Process Excellence:
- Oversee the safe and timely storage and despatch of goods, ensuring compliance with B2B and B2C standards.
- Champion Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a key liaison between internal departments and external logistics providers, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you will need to have:

A strong understanding of logistics planning and process improvement methodologies.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
Health & Safety expertise, with at least 2 years of practical experience and certification in IOSH Managing Safely.
A proactive mindset with a can-do attitude and a passion for continuous improvement.
