We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead outbound operations at a high-volume DC. In this hands-on role, you'll ensure smooth order fulfilment, quality, and cost-efficient delivery — all while driving performance and continuous improvement.

?? Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily outbound operations including order accuracy, packing, truck loading, and inventory flow
Partner with leadership to improve productivity, safety, and cost efficiency
Use performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and quality standards
Lead staffing functions including hiring, training, and performance management
Develop and manage departmental budgets, including freight and transportation
Collaborate with domestic freight partners and oversee service performance
Support continuous improvement initiatives in both UK and international logistics

? What You’ll Need:

Experience in DC operations leadership (inbound, outbound, inventory control)
Strong grasp of warehouse metrics, safety protocols, and compliance standards
Proficient in WMS (preferably Manhattan) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Skilled in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and managing multiple priorities
Strong communication and team management skills
Ability to interpret performance data and drive strategic action
