About The Role

Join us to lead a vital department where your expertise in security and operations management will be pivotal. As an Operations Officer, you will ensure that our resources are allocated efficiently, all security measures are robust and compliant, and our team is well-trained and highly motivated.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the security department, ensuring all staff are screened and trained according to industry standards.
• Manage budgets effectively to deliver the best value and ensure all contractual security services are delivered flawlessly.
• Conduct performance appraisals and manage staff leave and attendance with precision to maintain uninterrupted service.
• Proactively manage and update all necessary security protocols and training programs.
• Handle SIA audits and license checks meticulously, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Lead from the front in disaster recovery situations and act as the Incident Manager during emergencies.
• Be on call for any emergencies occurring

What You Need To Succeed

• An SIA licence – This is a must have!
• A background in operations
• Management experience – you will be overseeing a team
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Well organised
