We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Yeovil business and lead from the front and be part of a team shaping the companies' future. (Site T/Over £15 million with ambitious growth plans, Headcount circa 80 employees)

Key Tasks

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across all manufacturing processes
Lead capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation to meet demanding aerospace customer requirements
Manage customer audits and ensure necessary actions are taken
Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with company objectives to maximise productivity
Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing practices, and operational excellence
Develop, mentor, and motivate a skilled workforce to achieve business objectives
Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, control costs and optimise resource allocation
Partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic growth and operational improvementsRequirements:

Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar leadership role within aerospace, precision machining or complex manufacturing environment
Experience of investment casting, sand casting, centrifugal casting or similar process - advantageous
Degree qualified with at least 10 years in a senior management role
Experienced in managing all aspects of core manufacturing operations (ideally within a £10-15m business)
Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to inspire at all levels

Proven track record of driving operational excellence and improving manufacturing processes
