Veterans Housing, Welfare, and Enterprise Manager – Wilton

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for supporting armed forces personnel and veterans towards greater independence? We are seeking an experienced and innovative Enterprise & Partnerships Manager to oversee and develop a forward-thinking veterans' housing, welfare, employment, and enterprise model in Wilton. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £50,000–£55,000, with flexibility up to £60,000 for the right candidate, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role

As the Enterprise & Partnerships Manager in Wilton, you will lead the overall operation of a pioneering scheme dedicated to improving lives through housing, employment, skills, and enterprise initiatives. You will manage a team of approximately four staff and work closely with senior stakeholders, including local authorities, NHS, DWP, armed forces charities, employers, and government bodies.

Your focus will be on creating a strong service culture, fostering strategic partnerships, and developing innovative programmes like the upcoming Enterprise Hub in Wilton. Your leadership will be instrumental in expanding employment opportunities, securing funding streams, and enhancing the organisation’s external profile. The successful candidate will be confident in high-level stakeholder engagement, with a strong grasp of social enterprise, supported housing, and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead day-to-day management of the veterans-focused operation, ensuring excellent service delivery and a positive team environment.

* Develop and promote welfare initiatives that blend support with employment, aiming to improve independence for veterans.

* Build a diverse network of partnerships with government agencies, charities, employers, and community organisations.

* Develop employer and private-sector collaborations to create training, work placements, and employment opportunities.

* Support the development of the Enterprise Hub in Wilton, fostering entrepreneurship and self-employment for veterans and their families.

* Represent the organisation at stakeholder meetings, conferences, and public events, enhancing its external reputation.

* Identify and grow income and funding opportunities through corporate partnerships, grants, and enterprise activities.

* Support digital transformation initiatives, streamlining processes, and enhancing operational efficiency.

* Maintain community engagement and volunteer services, ensuring a visible and positive presence in Wilton.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a background in social enterprise, supported housing, employment, or community development, with demonstrated success in partnership-building and programme development. Exceptional communication skills, a confident public presence, and experience managing multidisciplinary teams are essential. Experience working with armed forces personnel or veterans, securing funding, and developing innovative social programmes is highly valued.
